Set your booking rules

Choose whether overlapping bookings are allowed, or one booking at a time.

Time: Under a minute · Updated Oct 13, 2026

Before you start

Open your booking rules

Click Settings in the left-hand bar, then Booking rules. Here you choose whether bookings may overlap, with Allow concurrent bookings.

It’s on to start with. That suits boarding or daycare, where you look after several pets at once. Reeve warns you about an overlap but never stops you booking it.

Change it and save

Untick Allow concurrent bookings if you only ever do one visit at a time. With it off, Reeve blocks a new booking that overlaps one you already have.

Click Save. The button only shows once you’ve changed something.

Local rules on how many animals you can look after at once vary by place. Check yours before you take overlapping stays.

See it when you book

When you pick a time in a new booking, slots that are already taken are greyed out and crossed through. If you pick one anyway, Reeve tells you it overlaps an existing booking. With overlaps allowed, you can still book it.

Choosing 1pm in a new booking, with “1pm overlaps an existing booking. You can still book it.”

What’s next

Take a booking, or set the days you don’t work in holidays and days off.
